Recently, the beam raising ceremony for the expansion project of the large die casting equipment factory of LK JAPAN CO., LTD., the Japanese production base of LK Group, was grandly held at Kobe General Industrial Park, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. The successful completion of the beam raising marks the full completion of the main construction works. The project has officially entered a new phase of equipment installation, commissioning and pre-production preparation. This is a major milestone for LK Group to upgrade local production capacity and better serve high-end customers in Japan.

Ms. Liu Yingying, Vice President of LK Group; Mr. Min Mingpeng and Mr. Lin Wenyong, Representative Directors of LK Japan; relevant principals of Chinese-funded financial institutions, as well as key representatives from the project design and construction partners attended the ceremony, witnessing this important moment of LK Group’s overseas production capacity upgrade. With a total investment of approximately 1 billion Japanese Yen, the expansion factory is equipped with large production facilities including 15-ton and 50-ton overhead cranes. Upon commissioning, the base will realize local manufacturing capacity for large die casting machines with a clamping force of up to 4,500 tons. The project broke ground in November 2025 and has been under steady construction ever since. All main structures have now been finished, and the factory is scheduled for official operation in October this year.

This capacity expansion constitutes a vital part of LK Group’s global strategy. It further optimizes the Group’s global production network and supply chain system, and forms a complete industrial loop featuring local R&D, overseas intelligent manufacturing and global delivery. Leveraging Japan’s mature high-end manufacturing ecosystem,LK Japan will integrate local supply chain resources, increase the localization rate of supporting components, and strengthen cooperation with local die makers and industrial chain partners.

Meanwhile, the factory will draw on Japan’s advanced experience in lean production and quality management to continuously optimize its production and quality control systems, so as to improve product precision, operational stability and long-term reliability. In terms of talent development, LK Japan will expand its teams for technology, assembly and after-sales service, and build an efficient localized service system to deliver timely support for overseas customers regarding equipment maintenance and process optimization. After putting into operation, the project will comprehensively strengthen LK Group’s production, technical and service capabilities for overseas markets, and provide integrated solutions of high-quality die casting equipment for customers engaged in new energy vehicles, high-end manufacturing and other sectors.

Rooted in global high-end intelligent manufacturing and committed to high-quality industrial development, LK Group will continue to press ahead with its global layout and deepen collaboration across the global industrial chain.
