For more than four decades, LK Group has advanced in step with the times and grown alongside the nation’s development. From its founding in Hong Kong in 1979 to taking root in Shenzhen amid China’s reform and opening-up, under the leadership of Mr. Liu Xiangshang, LK Group developed its first die casting machine and went on to introduce China’s first hot- and cold-chamber magnesium alloy die casting machines, including the first large-tonnage cold-chamber model. It later made history with the world’s first 6,000T, 9,000T, 12,000T, and 16,000T giga intelligent die casting cells.

“I have been engaged in the die casting industry for more than 50 years and have witnessed its journey in China from small to large, and from weak to strong. I have seen the vigorous growth following reform and opening-up, the intense competition after China’s accession to the WTO, and the current trend toward industrial concentration and clustering. I consider myself fortunate to have ridden the wave of reform and opening-up, seizing each critical moment of industrial transformation and moving step by step to where we are today. I have always been deeply passionate about the die casting industry. Compared with travel and leisure, I love work more. When I was younger, I would often become so immersed in a technical upgrade project that I lost track of time. I truly enjoy the process of research and breakthrough. It is this persistence over so many years that has given me the privilege of witnessing the industry’s epoch-making development,” Mr. Liu said.
