Building Foundations with Standards, Creating the Future with Intelligence | LK Group Shares Strategy for Building a High-Quality Standards Ecosystem Community
Recently, the 9th Member Congress and Election Meeting of the Foundry Machinery Branch of China Machine Tool & Tool Builders' Association (CMTBA) was held in Qingdao, Shandong.
Attendees included Wang Xu, Vice President of CMTBA; Zhang Bo, Deputy General Manager of SINOMACH Academy of Science and Technology Co., Ltd. and Executive Director of JFMI Inspection & Testing Technology Co., Ltd.; representatives of member units of the CMBTA Foundry Machinery Branch, as well as experts from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Jinan University, Hefei University of Technology, China Automotive Engineering Corporation, LK Group and other organizations.
The meeting reviewed the work report of the previous council, deliberated on the "Branch Work Regulations," and conducted the election and a plaque-awarding ceremony for member units. Shenzhen Leadwell Technology Co., Ltd. Of LK Group was once again appointed as a Vice-Chairman Unit.
A special report session was also held, where experts, scholars, and corporate representatives from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China Automotive Engineering Corporation, Hefei University of Technology, Jinan University, JFMI Inspection & Testing Technology Co., Ltd., LK Group and other organizations shared their insights. They discussed and exchanged views on cutting-edge technologies and development trends of the foundry machinery industry. Mr. Xu Niansheng, Director of LK Group's Technology Development Center, chaired the session.
Ms. Liang Shujie from the LK Group Technology Development Center delivered a speech titled "Building Foundations with Standards, Achieving Ecological Win-Win: High-Quality Industry Development through Standardization." She shared LK Group’s practices in leveraging standards to foster new quality productive forces, evolving from corporate standards to industry cornerstones, building a high-quality standard ecosystem, and driving the entire industry chain through standardization.
Ms. Liang highlighted an important background: the Standardization Administration of China (SAC) and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) jointly issued the "Construction Plan for a High-Quality Standard System for Industrial Machine Tools". This reflects the country’s emphasis on standardization and further underscores the irreplaceable strategic role of standards in cultivating new quality productive forces.
As the secretariat of Subcommittee TC186/SC2, LK Group is dedicated to building a high-quality standard ecological system, advancing standardization efforts, promoting the prosperity of the industrial ecosystem, empowering SMEs by lowering innovation thresholds, and fostering a virtuous cycle of technological innovation and industrial upgrading. LK Group practices the strategy of "technology generates standards, standards promote technology, and technology in turn creates new standards," thereby continuously driving the development of new quality productivity forces.
Founded in 1979, LK Group participated in the establishment of TC186/SC2 in 2008 and ISO/TC306 in 2017. From products to standards, from a single enterprise to the wider industry, and from the domestic arena to the international stage, LK has embedded a sense of “industry responsibility” into its development DNA.
“Looking ahead, building global influence requires strengthened international standards cooperation. At the same time, we must promote the deep integration of standards with scientific and technological innovation, using standards to guide the industry’s transformation towards intelligent and green development, thereby accelerating the cultivation of new quality productive forces. In addition, we should build an open and shared standardization platform, encouraging more enterprises, especially SMEs, to participate in standards development, ultimately shaping an industry ecosystem characterized by co-construction, co-governance, and shared benefits,” said Ms. Liang.
Standardization is the crystallization of scientific and technological progress and practical experience, and it requires the collective wisdom and joint efforts of the entire industry. LK Group will continue to advance the integration of industry, academia, and research, and promote technological innovation and upgrading across the sector.
