The exhibition is the largest metal casting exhibition in Central and Eastern Europe and is Poland's largest exhibition in this field. The range of products on display covers all areas of the foundry industry, starting with materials, sand and adhesives; metal charging and scraping, furnaces, metalworking machines and auxiliary equipment.

The METAL expo is one of the world's leading in addition to being Central and Eastern Europe's largest foundry and metal business-sectors' events.   For years the expo has brought together participants from around the world - a large group of exhibitors that offer the latest technologies and a whole array of visitors - this is a properly selected target group. The expo guests are business-insiders and representatives of related sectors. 

In general, the organizers welcomed a large number of foreign merchants within three days of the exhibition, mainly from Ukraine, Russia, the Czech Republic and Germany, as well as casting companies from Belarus, Ukraine and Russia to visit and negotiate. Each year, there are about 270 exhibitors from 26 countries and up to 3,000 professional visitors.
